Given my current position as a Systems Engineering Manager for a global corporation, I have a significant amount of experience in many of the concepts to be discussed in this class. So my expectations are not to be over whelmed by material that is completely foreign to me, but to add fine points to my existing knowledge of managing in a global and virtual environment.
I look forward to interacting with students with varying backgrounds and experience to learn what they are doing and what unique skills and processes they might employ. I think if we always strive to keep an open mind, there are no limits to what we can learn. I also look a forward to learning any new concepts I can from the course material to help me in my day to day job function.
